I can’t say enough how thankful I am that I was introduced to Lili McLean from A NEW CHAPTER Move Management. My realtor suggested I give her a call and I couldn’t have been happier. Lili and her partner Kerri and team came in and helped me downsize my home after residing there for 15 years. They were able to help me organize, sort and declutter. They worked alongside my realtor to help me beautifully stage my Bethesda home for sale with my own belongings.

Lili & Kerri organized and packed for two moves that I was preparing to make after the sale of my home first to Florida and eventually to Virginia to a second condo. The movers they work with were another added bonus as they were able to keep my belongings organized and put into storage ready to be loaded for my pending move. Their team was delightful to work with and they took great care with everything. Every vendor they referred me to were excellent and professional. I am so thankful that what was potentially a chaotic situation was rendered seamlessly. They were able to hold my hand and walk me through all the moving pieces with such grace, professionalism and lots of laughs. After the sale of my house they arranged for a successful estate sale while their movers drove down with me to Florida. I was thankful as well on that end they thought ahead and located another team in Florida to help me settle in. We developed a lasting friendship. I know when I am ready to take residence at my second place in the DMV I look forward to againworking together to settle me in upon arriving.

Thank you for all your help cleaning out Russell’s apartment. As you know this was an overwhelming task for me to take on, but I was so grateful I ended up in yours and Lili’s hands. I have no idea where I would be without you two. Thank you for all your guidance and assistance every step of the way.  I’m forever appreciative.

Over the last several months I have had the opportunity to work with Lili Goldstein-McLean and Kerri Kaminski from A New Chapter.  They were instrumental in helping my parents move comfortably into a smaller home. My parents had been very reluctant to leave their home but they both suffered a fall and needed to move to a smaller home with assistance.

From the beginning they took extra time to get to know my parents and listen to the stories of the items they had acquired over a lifetime.  They skillfully were able to discern how much could fit in the new apartment to make it feel like home and not so much that it felt crowded.

Lili and Kerri helped my parents take their most special items and make it their best version of their treasured items.  With their unique service they set up my parents new home with clothes in the closet (and just the right amount of clothes!), knickknacks on the shelves and pictures on the wall.  The place was completely organized and ready for them the moment they moved in.

My parents felt they were heard and cared for with Lili and Kerri’s services and special attention to detail.  They had recommended excellent movers who also worked carefully and quickly to put their new home together.  I would recommend A New Chapter most highly.  They were incredibly caring and skilled. I recommend them most highly.

Thank you again for all your hard work getting us moved out from our house and moved in to our apartment. The task was a formidable one, and we appreciate your care and good humor throughout the seemingly unending process. Best wishes to both of you and to your various colleagues. A great team! We recently sold our house in Potomac, Maryland very quickly.  As the buyers required a very short closing time, we had to be out within 3 weeks.  We lived in our house for over 25 years and knew we could not undertake this task successfully by ourselves. The New Chapter Move came highly recommended by a friend and theyexcee ded our expectations.

Lili and her colleges were a pleasure to deal with, estimated the job appropriately, provided additional resources, packed magnificently (not a thing was broken), handled our “treasures” with great care, and made a stressful process so much easier.  They also coordinated with TGL movers, making the process seamless.  Carlos and his team were also amazing! We could have never accomplished this move without them.  We highly recommend them!

We hired A New Chapter initially to help us sort, organize and discard several decades-worth of furniture and keepsakes in the basement of our row house in Georgetown as we prepared the house for sale and a move to condo. Lili and her business partner, Kerry, were terrific in sorting what to keep, donate and discard and connected us with an estate sale company as well as a service to digitize home photos and movies. It wasn’t long before we expanded the work to helping us pack for the move and to work with their moving company partner to coordinate our move to Virginia and delivery of furniture and boxes to our kids in Brooklyn and Charlottesville.  The best part was Lili, Kerry and team’s help with the condo move-in.  The team unpacked everything, beautifully organized the kitchen and bathrooms and hung clothes in the closets!  It was a complicated job, all made easy due to Lili and Kerry’s energy, efficiency, kindness, and hard work. I heartily recommend A New Chapter without hesitation.

Eighty-six (86) and moving

Moving is never easy or enjoyable ….

Not until I was introduced to Lili Goldstein-McLean and her expert team of organizers and movers. Lili came to my apartment and made a thorough estimate for the cost of packing all of my clothing, accessories and furniture from my two-bedroom apartment in North Bethesda to my new apartment in Potomac, Maryland.  The price was fair as compared to prices that I heard from friends for their move.

On moving day, (a Thursday) Lili and her team packed everything ready for the move the next day.  I was told not to be there Thursday so as not to be in the way.  On Friday, my move to my new apartment was complete. All furniture in place.  All clothing and accessories in place.  On the way to my new location, the movers picked up several large pieces of art that were being reframed.

Friday night, I slept in my new apartment.  A totally wonderful experience.
